- Grades: PS, K, 1
- Preschools and daycares are primarily residences, overseen by stay-at-home mothers, retired teachers, and other caring adults. Mothers may get together during the day while they keep an eye on the children. A father may teach his children while working from home.
- At the pre-elementary level, much of the activity takes place at home, mostly arranged informally by family members and friend groups. There are few costs involved since the parents and guardians care for the children regardless.
