- Grades: 2, 3, 4
- The elementary school is the heart of the neighborhood. It is a 5-10 walk, and some students bike there. Most of its teachers are from the neighborhood.
- The building is domestically-scaled. It may be an expanded residence.
- The school day ends at noon and students return later for sports and other activities.
- There is a kitchen in the school which serves the neighborhood. Teachers and volunteers help run the kitchen.
- The neighborhood garden is next to the school.
- Classes have about 15 students and there are several classes per grade. The school expands as needed.
